ABOUT US At A Family Connection, we strive to understand each client's unique objectives in exploring family history and genealogy. Founded in 2002, A Family Connection has assisted dozens of clients in uncovering their roots. Workshops, seminars, lectures, networking with other genealogy researchers, and affiliations with genealogical societies keeps us up to date on the newest research techniques and databases. Genealogy is not an exact science, and there is no guarantee that ancestors will be found on public record. Any genealogist who guarantees results is not a professional. Our only guarantee is to provide copies of well-documented sources when presenting your family history. It is critical to authenticate family tree information with accurate source documentation. Debbie Herman Leaver, president of A Family Connection, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Over twenty years of professional experience in sales and consumer service industries created a foundation to focus on how to best meet each client's needs and expectations in the area of family genealogy research. Professional affiliations include Michigan Business and Professional Association and the Oakland County Genealogical Society.
